*Please sign up in the Lobby if you plan to go to the Apple Picking Fellowship Event at Perry Lowe's Orchard on Saturday, October the 10th at 2:00pm. Please note that the church will be paying for general admission and one half bag of apples. Anything additional will need to be purchased by the individual. For any questions, see Ashleigh Sigmon or Cole Glass.
*We have made a list of available opportunities to serve in the church. There are several copies located at the front of the sanctuary. If you are interested in serving in the new church year, please take one of these papers and pray over these opportunities to serve.
Today - Nominating Committee meeting after morning worship. Those on the committee include: The Deacon Board, Ethan Galliher, Tyler Sweet, Summer Glass, Allison Brown, Seth Mull. Anyone who wants to serve in a new or different capacity, please see one of these on the committee.
This Afternoon - You’re invited to a baby shower for Jeremy and Peyton Simpson on Sunday, September 13th, from 2:00-3:30 in the fellowship hall. They are registered at Babylist.com.
Starting Next Sunday, September 13th through October 18th - 6 Week Ladies Bible Study. Please see Jessica Kale or Lauren Hall for more information.
Wednesday, September 16th - Fall Discipleship Begins. Please note the schedule has changed slightly. Meal at 6:30 pm, meal cleanup at 7:00 pm, disperse to Classes at 7:15 pm. Once we are in our classes, we will begin with a special time of prayer. Adults will meet in the Sanctuary; Youth will meet in the Married and Adults Classroom. Adults will be studying “The Parables of Christ”, Youth will be studying “Christian Morality and Today’s Culture”, and Children will continue the Kids for Truth Curriculum.
Sunday, September 20th - You’re invited to a wedding shower for Coleman Chapman & Natalie Mason on Sunday, September 20th, from 2:00-3:30 in the fellowship hall. They are registered at Amazon.
September 23rd-26th - There will be a Youth Conference held at Liledoun Baptist Church. Wednesday-Friday services begin at 7:00pm. Saturday begins at 5:00pm. Meal is provided after both the Friday and Saturday Services. Pastor Barr is Preaching on Saturday.
September 27th - Homecoming Service. Rev. Rick Safriet will be preaching, & Fellowship Meal after worship.
October 10th - Church Fellowship Event at Perry Lowe’s Apple Orchard at 2:00pm.
