*(Updated) Saturday October 17th - Apple Picking Fellowship Event at Perry Lowe’s Orchard at 2:30pm. Please remove or add your name to the sign up sheet in the lobby so that it is up to date with a final head count. Changes need to be completed today.
This Wednesday October 14th - Is Fall Discipleship. Meal at 6:30 pm, meal cleanup at 7:00 pm, disperse to Classes at 7:15 pm. Once we are in our classes, we will begin with a special time of prayer. Adults will meet in the Sanctuary, Youth will meet in the Married and Adults Classroom. Adults will be studying “The Parables of Christ”, Youth will be studying “Christian Morality and Today’s Culture”, and Children will continue the Kids for Truth Curriculum.
Next Sunday October 18th - There will be an information meeting after worship for the upcoming Marriage Retreat in January of 2027.
Saturday, October 31st - 1:00-3:00 pm. There will be a Community Fall Festival at East Alexander Park. Our Church will partner with Sulphur Springs Baptist & Hiddenite Baptist to provide this opportunity for our community. There will be a hot dog lunch for families, Bouncy Houses, Hay Rides, and Decorated Tables along the entryway sidewalk. Our Church has also been asked to lead the Bouncy Houses & the Hay Ride Stations. Anyone is welcome to decorate a table with their favorite treats. We will have a Brief Meeting on Sunday, October 25th to discuss this ministry opportunity.
Friday, November 13th - There will be a Senior Adult trip on November 13th. We will be eating breakfast at Abeles Family Restaurant in Morganton. We will be leaving the church at 8:30am. There is a sign up sheet in the lobby.
